holy crap it’s another blog post!

My new gr/avatar 🙂

So, I’ve been doing a lot of nothing lately, which is why I haven’t blogged.  I’ve done a couple reviews with non-insertibles, but that’s about it.  I honestly haven’t had the ambition or energy.  D told me today how much blood I lost during surgery.  I lost over 600ml… which is quite a lot, considering.  No wonder I’ve been so faint and lightheaded!!  I did stop bleeding last night, so that’s good.

I go back to work tomorrow, I’m so totally not looking forward to it.  But I talked to D yesterday and we’re both okay with it if I need to come home early.  I’d need to file FMLA for approval so my work won’t take away my bonus next month, but.  I gotta do what I gotta do.  Having to stay the night with all that guaze in me and stuff really put back my recovery.

Tonight me and D came to the conclusion/decision that we don’t have “a song.”  We have “an album.”  😉 For those of you curious, it’s Escapexstacy by Poisonblack.  teehee

Tonight I made a Facebook page!  There’s a button on the sidebar, but here’s a link anyway:

Sorry I haven’t blogged much lately.  I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot to say, and while I could talk about my recovery, it has a lot to do with blood and my vagina, which. Well.  It’s pretty gross LOL I did a couple non-insertion reviews, have one more to do when I have the ambition to re-watch 2 1/2 hours of porn LOL

Nothing much else going on.  Me and D opened up a joint savings account today to have a place to put our money for moving in, so it’s not sitting in our change jar tempting us.  They looked confused when we said “no, no atm cards we’re not gonna withdraw anything” but we won’t even have that.  We’ll actually have to go to the bank to withdraw money.  We’ve got almost $200 saved.  So not enough to move, but considering we’ve been saving for 1 1/2 weeks, not a bad job LOL We’re still waiting for 1 chair to sell, to ged rid of more un-used and -needed chair and also we’re looking to get rid of a bunch of books and some random crap sitting around we can probably pawn.

Sometimes I loathe the stigma that comes with using a pawn shop.  But the way I look at it is that I can get some money for something I don’t use/need/want/like anymore, and it’s available for someone else to buy at a reduced price.  Nothing wrong with that!  The books are hopefully going to this swap meet / flee market thing going on in a couple weeks.  You go, drop of stuff you want to get rid of and you can pick up a bunch of stuff that you want, no money changes hands.  While we’d like to sell the books, there aren’t any used book stores in town anymore that buy books for cash.  So, maybe this way I can get us some stuff we like and can use! 🙂 Or if not, someone else can get the books we don’t read anymore.

Oh yea…and the last thing I have to say today:

My doctor called yesterday.  The last piece of cervix they removed was *cancer free* !!  So, looks like for now I’m in the clear.  No more surgeries for now 🙂 Only thing is, I may relapse, so I need to really pay attention to what my vagina is doing, my period, and make sure I get a pap every year.  Which I do anyway.  So.  Yay!

You know, I’ve never really understood the whole pawn shop stigma. Maybe it’s the fact that most of them are in an icky part of town? At least the ones I’ve seen are. Hmm.

Good luck your first day back to work! I am SO SO glad you’re cancer free. I was going to be SO mad with your surgeon if they didn’t take enough and you needed to have a *third* surgery. *shakes head*

Yea, I’da been pretty pissed too. Up here pawn shops are everywhere, but up here is also pretty conservative and judgmental. Only poor people go to pawn shops, etc. *shrugs*

Getting no atm cards so you have to go down there to get out money seems like a really good idea! You’ll be ready to move in no time.

I’m happy to hear the surgery was a success. I hope you heal up well, and that work isn’t too bad on you. Stay happy 🙂

Thanks 😀 Work was alright. I work in a call center, so it wasn’t too physically taxing or anything.

And yea, I’m glad we didn’t get atm cards as well. Just that much less of a chance to “borrow” from ourselves, ya know?
